About CalcPro
CalcPro exists to give everyone access to accurate, fast, and completely free calculation tools — no sign-up, no paywalls, no guesswork.
Our Mission
Most people encounter complex calculations — mortgage repayments, BMI checks, tax estimates, compound interest — at moments that matter. They deserve tools that are fast, honest, and accurate.
CalcPro was built on one principle: every calculation should be transparent. We show the formula, explain the inputs, and tell you what the result means. No black boxes. No hidden fees. No account required.
Our Values
Accuracy First
Every calculator is built from verified formulas and reviewed by a qualified expert before publication.
Always Free
CalcPro is and always will be free to use. We fund the site through non-intrusive display advertising.
Privacy by Design
All calculations run in your browser. We never see, store, or transmit the numbers you enter.
Transparent
We show the formulas we use, cite our sources, and correct errors publicly. No silent edits.
Our Team
CalcPro Editorial Team
CalcPro's calculators and guides are developed and reviewed by our editorial team, who verify formulas against authoritative sources before publication and keep content updated as regulations, rates, and guidelines change. See our Editorial Policy for details on our review process and sourcing standards.
Editorial Standards
CalcPro follows a rigorous five-step editorial process for every calculator and guide we publish. Our Editorial Policy explains this in full, including how we handle corrections, how often content is reviewed, and how we choose our sources.
All health and finance content carries a professional disclaimer and links to relevant authoritative resources. CalcPro tools are for informational use and do not constitute medical, financial, or legal advice.
Sources & Methodology
CalcPro's calculators are built on established formulas from authoritative sources, including:
- World Health Organization (WHO) — BMI and nutritional standards
- U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) — health metrics
- U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) — tax brackets and deductions
- Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) — mortgage and loan formulas
- American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) — exercise and calorie guidelines
- ISO standards — unit conversion and measurement definitions
Where formulas have multiple accepted variants (e.g. Hamwi vs. Devine for ideal weight), we display all versions and explain the differences. All sources are reviewed annually or when official guidelines are updated.
